I'd like to think that I am an overall happy person. Nothing tragic has happened to me in quite a long time, I am in good health, my family is in good health, I have a job, good friends, etc.
But lately, I have found more negativity and sadness coming out of my mouth than positivity.
Here's an example. Yesterday, I spent over 14 hours in Magic Kingdom; the first 5 were for orientation and the rest were just playing with friends. My feet hurt like crazy, guests hit me with their cameras during Festival of Fantasy (multiple times I might add), and of course, it was hot so I was sweaty. I hate complaining, but I was, mostly about my feet. And as I was driving home last night, I looked back on the day and realized just how unhappy I was appearing. Who wants to be unhappy at the most magical place on Earth? I should be grateful and happy to be here for 4 months getting to visit the parks for free and also get paid to make magic for guests in a costume that isn't really hideous.
So that's where my new challenge comes in.
I've been thinking a lot about how I want to grow in my writing and also my social media accounts. I wanted to do something that could carry itself across all platforms. So why not write about positivity? With all the negativity being talked about on social media and in the world, wouldn't it be nice to see something positive on your Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram? So for the next 90 days, beginning today, I will be positive in all I say, do, and post! And if I'm having an off day, which we all do, I plan on keeping it myself.
